At 53° 9' 0" S / 70° 55' 0" W, in the dead of winter, the Carnival of Punta Arenas, Chile is dancing through the streets. It is late at night and children are bundledtight. Venders sell street sausauges and people stand around the fires. A heavy snow begans to fall and the dancers move faster as the July night turns white.
