7 dogs & a horse, a look into the lives of the most southern cowboy living in south Patagonia { 31 images } Created 22 Dec 2010
The water has frozen in the pipes for the last month straight, no shower and the dishes are piled up.The small shack cabin outposts are rarely with electricity and their bare essentials are not family based. The gaucho works long days and comes in once or twice a month to see his woman and family if he has one. Most of the ole timers don't make it into town much. Its a open pasture, a stinging wind, a meat and potatoes kindda dinner with a 6am maté and cigarette for breakfast. It's you and the dogs and the burning sun. It's a romantic lifestyle in the barest conditions. This is the most southern cowboy, here in Magallanes Chile.
